TRAVEL JOURNAL: A GIRLS WEEKEND IN WASHINGTON, D.C.

Travel Journal - A girls weekend in washington, D.C.

Last month I a took a trip to visit my friend Megan in Washington, D.C. I had been there once before but I was in middle school and it was for a school trip.  Everything we did was super touristy but very educational.

This time around I got to see more of the city and still catch some must see places like the Washington monument.

I took the earliest flight out on Thursday and I by early I mean I was up at 4 am, yikes!. In perspective it was a really good choice because I got into the city early and still had plenty of time to scope out the city.

Over the course of the weekend we pretty much ate our way through D.C. but I did manage to sneak in a Yoga class and a 6 am. bootcamp workout. I had a hard time rolling out of the bed for the 6 a.m bootcamp but felt so energized afterwards so it was worth it.

Of course this trip couldn't have been possible without the help of my loving husband and my mother in law who drove up to watch the boys. I was able to relax and know that the boys were in good hands all weekend.

Now onto the good stuff, the pictures. Here is a peek at my weekend.

xoxo,
griselda
