PROJECT 365: MAY

Have you heard the saying, "April showers bring May flowers". Well around here that is definitely true. In May, everything started blooming and I couldn't be more happy about it. Taking pictures of flowers has to be one of my absolute favorites.

May was a good month, we celebrated mothers day and it officially started to feel like summer. I tackled painting my baseboard heaters, and always amazed at what a difference paint makes.

Myles loves little cars. Every time we go to the store he wants a new one, I have a hard time saying no since they are one a buck. I guess keeping my sanity while grocery shopping is worth that buck. Last year he was obsessed with trains, then he moved onto these little cars. I need to take a picture of him with his not so small collection.

Flowers in my backyard and the cutest little banner I picked up while in D.C. I also picked up a large  poster of the United States, which now I need figure out how to hang. I think the boys will love it, I am thinking of putting it in their playroom. It's a great way to show them all the different places we've lived and how big the states really are.

We ended the month celebrating my husbands birthday and going to a memorials day parade in our neighborhood. The boys loved watching all the cars drive by, especially the firetruck. We kept them busy with bubbles and snacks. We were lucky to find a cozy spot in the shade, and attempted a group pic of my boys but sometimes when they don't look at the camera I get the best expressions.

Hope you all had a good May too. Boy does it feel good to get all caught up with this project 365. If I skip a day or two I am not going to beat myself up because the overall idea is to pick up my camera more and challenge myself to shoot from a different angle.

Thanks for stopping by.

Xoxo,
Griselda
